Great location!

Perfect location on the beach! However, I was disappointed in lack of pick up at airport and every other day maid service we requested and expected. Also, no locks on bathroom doors was a problem.

We really enjoy staying at Luna Encantada. Previously we have stayed in D3, which is awesome..but last trip we stayed in C1 and loved it even more!! Great decor. Both units have an amazing view and balconey and we loved being on the 1st floor with easy access to the beach. We will definitely stay there again!!

We stayed in unit C1 for a week with our 7 and 8yr old boys. We have stayed in several other condo's in Playa previously that were nice, but I have to say this was our favorite condo and area to be in. The location of the condo couldn't be better. Lots of room. Spectacular ocean front view with huge wrap around patio, it's on the first floor just steps from the beach and pool. We never had to pack up for the day. Our boys went from pool to beach in and out of condo all day long. Aden had the beach chairs set up every morning for us and waited on us all day long with cocktails from the bar next door, and best of all, 5th ave was just steps away. The only few negatives to the condo was one room was very bright from the lights all night, but didn't seem to bother the kids (take an eyemask if adults sleeping in the small room), the dryer took forever to dry clothes, and dishwasher never really cleaned the dishes, but these little things wouldn't keep us from coming back! Luna Encantada staff was very nice and the place was well maintained. There is a bar next door, weekends was little noisier than the weekdays. Didn't bother us, we liked watching all the people and listening to the bands. They do a fire show at night on the beach, so cool! I highly recommend this place. Thank you, Tonya for recommending this place. It was awesome and we can't wait to come back!

We have been previously to high end resorts in Mexico and the Carribean. Maroma, Tides Maroma, Caneel Bay, Little Dix Bay, St. Thomas Ritz, Cancun Ritz, and the like. This was our first experiment with a condo rental and we will never do the resort thing again. This condo is first rate and it sleeps eight so our 26 year old son and a friend joined us for half the trip and it was still have the cost of the resort experience. We went to Mega on arrival for beverages (beer and wine mostly) and bought breakfast stuff and snacks but ate out all other meals. Fusion next door was not too loud. Food in Playa is good and not too expensive. Franklin, Aden and Johnny very helpful. Tonya was very helpful in arranging transportation and in providing tips. The condo is spacious and the balcony overlooking the beach and sea was huge. Weather in Nov. was pleasant. Not so hot as in the summer months. We will be returning in May we hope.

I've stayed at Luna Encantada for the past 4 years in a variety of units, usually about twice a year. This was my first stay in a 1st floor unit on the beachfront and it was great! Very nice to have the larger patio and be able to just walk to the end to the pool. Also, this was the best furnished unit I have stayed in here.

The location was fabulous. We loved being right by the beach and the pool. Getting there and not having hot water for 2 days was not good. They new when we checked in that it wasnt working because the guy came and checked it. But didnt do anything until we complained. Then no water pressure. After we complained they changed out the head and it was much better. Never had enough towels for our bath but there was 8 of us. All the staff were really nice especially Jose. We felt really safe. The restaurants were great ! It would of been great to stay another week.

The view says it all for Luna Encantada unit C-1, it is better than the photos used on the Vrbo site. The condo is large and comfortable. The location made it easy to go from the pool to the beach with our small children. The only negative was the music in the evening from the restaurant next door, but this would not discourage our family from returning or recommending to friends. In fact, we ate several evenings with our toes in the sand at the restaurant. I cannot say enough positive things about our experience in Playa. Luna Encantada is a wonderful location to vacation, we hope to return again.

Our stay at Luna Encantada C-1 was overall great. Really impressed with the 24/7 security and the service of the staff/management in general. The unit was comfortable, clean with all the amenities. Only complaint was shower/sinks did not seem to drain very quickly. Shower quickly turns into a swimming pool. The beach front location/access was awesome. Fish tacos at Fusion..awesome! 5th Ave/Playa wonderful as always awesome! Just a great experience and can't wait to return.

Wonderful vacation with spouse and 3 daughters. Luna C-1 was well equipped with all of the amenities you would expect in your own home with the addition of a beachfront balcony. I sat on the balcony every night, reading a good book, with the moon in the distance, the quiet roll of the surf, palm trees lightly swaying with varied soft music playing next door at Fusion. Security was attentive and responsive to our few questions, needs. Benjamin, the IT guy, got our wireless computer up and running in no time. We arranged transportation through Tonya and Johnny, our transport guy was there for our trips to Tulum, Xcaret, Walmart(for groceries) and round trip from the airpport in Cancun. Wonderful, friendly gentleman who was always on time and spoke and understood english quite well too. From our perspective, a much greater value vs an all inclusive. We visited friends on Cozumel at an all inclusive and weren't impressed. Luna is just down the street from 5th avenue and all the shops and eateries. More choices for food and activities or just hanging out at the condo on the beach. Out of our 7 night stay, we were without water 1 night for about 3 hours. I guess this happens occasionally, no real problem. Overall, a memorable vacation for our family.

"Luna Encantada C-1" was the BEST!......furnishings, view, staff, location, amenities, all were perfect. I chose a condo over an all-inclusive because I wanted a more personal touch and immersion into the Mexican Culture. I was travelling with adult children and a grandchild and this was of utmost importance. It was all of that and much more. The Fusion Restaurant next door was a ++++ to our visit. The food was great. A rental car was never necessary most everything was within walking distance...except for excursion (which had busing included) Tonya and Benja were wonderful and very helpful to us.

My Dream vacation

I have found the vacation place of my dreams. For years I?ve dreamt of a place on a white sand beach in the Caribbean where I could enjoy the local culture on a more intimate level than allowed in a major all inclusive resort setting. A place where I could set with my bare feet in the sand and a cold margarita in my hand while I gaze across the turquoise blue water and think of nothing but how beautiful it is to be alive. Thanks so much, we will be back!

A great place to enjoy all that Playa and 5th Ave. have to offer without having to go anywhere. When your done partying, sight-seeing or shoping you walk back to your oasis on the beach and relax. We got a great deal Oct. 09 and we will be back again if we are that fortunate.

We love C1 it has the best location for beach access, pool, Beach watching. There is nothing better than being able to sit on the patio with the amazing view right there for you to enjoy. Luna Encantada itself is the best place to be in Playa Delcarmen, I hope I never have to stay in any other condo besides C1. It is truely the best one there.

The service was great from the moment I inquired about the condo(thanks Tonya!) until we left. The condo was spacious and comfortable, very well appointed. The location right on the beach was perfect and just steps away from the pool! Benjamin was wonderful with getting us in the condo and with all the help in getting my daughter's laptop set up. We look forward to coming back to Playa del Carmen and will definitely stay at Luna Encantada.

I have been going to playadelcarmen for 20 yrs.Stayed in many places.Then noticed Luna while it was being built.Booked he place for the next year.It was A+, so I book for the next two years after for 2wk stays.Just loved it!!! The only place that has you right on the beach.....

Very clean and well managed. Security guard always on duty and very involved with all guests. Well equipped kitchen and nice furniture. We had a great time and would go back.

This condo is awesome and is located in a perfect place in the middle of 5th avenue. No need for a car you can walk every where with plenty to do. The condo was very nice with everything you need although a bigger tv would have been nice. We were very comfortable and the staff was very nice to help us if we needed anything. The best part is the amazing view of the ocean which is just steps away. We can't wait to go back!

Luna Encantada Unit # C 1 was even better then I could have imagined. You are no more then 4 steps from the beautiful infinity pool and 10 steps from the white sand beach. From the moment I pulled into the parking garage and was greeted by the friendly security / maintenence staff (Jose, the best of the best), I knew I was in good hands. They quickly introduced themselves and carried my bags to the condo and were on hand through out my stay to carry packges, groceries, etc... The condo was everything I hoped it would be and then some. The Living / Dining room which are quite spacious were great for entertaining. An added bonus was the Vonage phone service which was great for free long distance calls back home to family and unfortunately work. The Kitchen was well equiped for most any occasion though for the most part the only appliance I can vouch for is the blender which was still running after 17 days and nights of non-stop use. The 3 bedrooms were all very nice. The Master was oceanfront with a King. You are just steps away from the beautiful blue Caribbean and the wait staff from Fusion beach club next door delivered our beakfast and lunch orders to LE C-1's oceanfront terrace numerous times during our stay. As far as location goes, everything you could want or need is within walking distance form the condo and taxi's are cheap if you need to venture further away. Along the beach you can find boats and crews to take you fishing, parasailing, jet sking, what ever. One last thing, try to plan your trip around the time the Moon / Luna is entering its full stage. As you and yours sit on the beach or terrace you will be gifted with a memory that will last a lifetime as it rises up out of the sea to the east and that wonderfully hypnotic glow takes over. My stay in Playa del Carmen and unit C-1 at Luna Encantada was everything I had dreamed paradise could be.

My family - 6 adults had a wonderful experience here. Our unit had an ocean view and it was one short flight of stairs to the beach and pool. This was a perfect experience. The staff was most helpful and courteous. Tonya was great to work with. The location is central to shopping and restaurants. There was a noisy night club on the other side of the building but I understand that is gone now. We walked the beach to the ferry and went over to Cozymel for a day. We would go back in a heartbeat.
